5th Grade Living History Presentations

Members of the Sacramento Chapter formed a volunteer group known as the "School Guard” in 2000. This group provides a 70-minute presentation detailing colonial life and the American Revolution. After sharing stories about the origins and key elements of the war, volunteers showcase approximately 25 authentic colonial artifacts. The program is offered at no cost to schools throughout the greater Sacramento and surrounding areas, directly supporting the fifth-grade U.S. History curriculum.
